We want everyone to be able to browse, order and give here, whatever device or assistive technology you use. If anything gets in your way, please tell us and we’ll help.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We build pages to work with a keyboard, a screen reader and browser zoom, and we check them with automated accessibility tests as we make changes.
Helpful features
- Accessibility settings, at the bottom of every page, let you turn motion off or follow your device’s reduced motion setting.
- A Skip to content link at the top of every page takes you past the menus.
- Links that open a new tab say so to screen readers.
Known gaps
- Product photos are described by the product’s name, not by everything the cover shows.
- Some product descriptions came over from our previous store and may not be laid out as clearly as newer pages.
- Card details are entered in fields provided by Stripe, our payment processor, and newsletter sign-up opens a form hosted by Wufoo. We can’t change how those work, so if either gives you trouble, contact us and we’ll help.
- Links to cjfm.org and other sites lead outside this store, and those pages may work differently.
